Lawry’s The Prime Rib has always been recognised as one of the steak powerhouse in Singapore. It has been featured in almost every article for its exquisite beef cuts or even name by some online platform as the “Black Horse”. But what if you can’t take beef (or simply not a steak-lover), does that mean you can’t go to the Lawry’s? Fret not, Lawry’s The Prime Rib has rolled out a 4 course set meal this Christmas and guests can opt for other Christmas classics other than their signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef. Helmed by the very experienced Executive Chef Sherwin Sim, this is definitely the ‘December to Remember’! So, impress your loved ones with a lavish and memorable meal at Lawry’s The Prime Rib this Christmas! He/she will love you even more after the meal!

Prices are a tad steep over here but you really pay for what you get! Your spouse will definitely be impressed with the 4 course meal, top notch service as well as the beautiful ambiance. A meal to remember indeed! The Christmas meal is priced at $128++/pax or $218++/pax!

I really enjoyed the coffee at Lawry’s. The latte was aromatic, not too acidic and very smooth. A good perk me up in the morning!

These cute Chocolate balls come with your coffee!
The Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad
Salad was well-dressed and very refreshing. A great start!

Appetizer Trio
The Appetizer Trio comes with Crunchy Herb Crumbled Oyster with Wasabi Mayo (was well-marinated, crispy and wasabi mayo was a great condiment), Over Baked Truffle Wagyu Beef Pithivers (Truffle flavour was strong, beef was tender and the pastry had a great texture, and Foie Gras with Thyme Gelee (flavour was really heavy).

Acacia Honey Roasted Chicken
Many said that the chicken was a little too sweet for them but I thought the sweetness was just fine. The skin is coated with Acacia Honey and I really love it. Chicken was well-marinated, soft and tender. Mash was also good.

Baked Cajun European Seabass with King Prawn
This was one of my favourite dish at Lawry’s! The seabass was well-cooked and flavourful. It goes very well with the mash and green pea puree. Prawn was fresh and crunchy. I would definitely opt for this!

Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef
If you are a steak-lover, you definitely have to try this! Prime Rib was cooked to perfection, medium-rare with the meat very tender and juicy. Paired with the in-house sauce, you literally can fly after eating this. There are some fatty parts (because it’s prime rib) but it was fine with me!

Strawberry Shortcake with Rum & Raisin Ice Cream
Cake was really light and moist but the limelight goes to the rich and creamy rum and raisin ice cream which everyone can’t stop singing praises about.

Chocolate Yule Log Cake with Macadamia Nut Ice Cream
I really liked this! Chocolate was very rich and the cake was moist. Macadamia Nut Ice Cream was not too bad but I still prefer the rum & raisin one!
