Didn’t start off your 2018 on the brightest note? In need of some happiness or something to cheer you up? Fret not, the pastel, nostalgic and caring Care Bears are coming to town! Officially opened on the 1st of February 2018, Kumoya Singapore has brought in Singapore’s first-ever Care Bears-themed Cafe for a limited time period. Not only will you be able to purchase limited edition Care Bears merchandise, but also get to enjoy a specially designed Care Bears menu (with so many cute Care Bears inspired dishes to choose from). Aren’t you all excited? So, mark the date down and show some love by bringing your friends along! Sharing is caring!

No more bad day after seeing all the cute dishes from Care Bears Cafe! Unlike other theme cafe, the food here are actually more than edible. Compared to their last run (Miffy), I thought the mains were so much better. Not to mention their desserts which never fails to impress me.

Choc-a-lot // $10.90
Similar to its name, the chocolate flavour was really strong and rich but not too overwhelming (not like those that you feel you will get a sore throat the next day). It was not overly sweet as well.

Magic Mango Strawberry // $11.90
Is this going to be very sweet? That was my first reaction when they served this very brightful drink onto our table. I bet this is going to give you diabetes, my friend added. But you know what? It turns out the drink wasn’t that bad. It was actually quite refreshing with a sweet-sour combination.

Cute Cuddly Calpis // $11.90
If you like yoghurt, you will probably like this. Again, the drink was not overly sweet!

Salted Egg Yolk Fries // $11.90
Some of the fries are in cute bear shape! I think I left the fries on the table for quite a while, so it was soggy when I ate them. Cereal crunch sprinkled on top of the potato was really smart, and the salted egg yolk dip was very flavourful and addictive. Once you dip, you can’t stop!

Chicken & Corn Sticks with Nacho Cheese // $12.90
Cheese-lovers, please order this! Also, I think this will be a hit among the kids.

The Seafood Chowder you’ll Love-a-lot! // $28.90
OMG! So DARN CUTE lah! and you know what this was pretty yummy! The beetroot rice was well-cooked and fragrant, and it paired well with the flavourful seafood chowder. Oh yes, the salmon was soft and melty. A Must-Try! Before I forget, you get to bring back a mini Care Bear plushie when you purchase this dish. What a great deal, isn’t it?

Cheer-Up Chicken Katsu // $21.90
The chicken katsu was really yummy! It was well-marinated and very crispy. Paired with a sunny side-up, we finished this in no time!

Feeling Blue Berries Cake Jar // $12.90
Contrary to how sweet it appears to be, this dessert was one of my favourite. The mixed berries cake inside the jar was really soft and moist. Paired with a classic Vanilla softserve, this is to die for! No more blues after finishing this!

Rainbow Garden Strawberry Parfait // $18.90
The dream dessert everyone is eyeing for! Again, the dual swirl softserve is perfect! I can eat that all day. The other complements are great as well. Sweet tooth will definitely be fixed with this!

Spread-The-Cheer Waffles // $19.90
No problem with the Strawberry Hokkaido Softserve but I thought the waffle could have been crispier!
