It is no surprise that South Beach Avenue is gaining massive traction these days, especially so after having a myriad of established F&B brands within its compound. If you have been following my blog closely, you would have probably noticed that I’ve patronised several cafes/restaurants at South Beach and so far, I’m pretty satisfied with the dining experience at the respective brands.

Recently, I paid a visit to the visually-stunning and romantic Italian restaurant – Atmastel, where they have rolled out a brand new menu that concentrates mainly on authentic Italian classics. Helmed by the new and talented Chef Angelo Sergio, be prepared to walk away with a very satisfied stomach. So, if you’re looking for the perfect restaurant for the perfect date, do check out Atmastel at South Beach Avenue. You definitely impress your date:)

P/s: Prices are really affordable, no kidding!

One look at the dishes and you know they are going to taste good. These dishes were well-presented and well-executed. I was actually shocked to find out that these luxurious-looking dishes doesn’t cost you a bomb. They are very affordable!

Burrata Della Valle D’itria
Burrata Cheese with Toasted Homemade Bread and Mix Grilled Vegetable, Pesto Oil and Balsamic Reduction
Burrata cheese tasted a little weird to me but the mix grilled vegetables made up for it!

Pizza Vegetariana
Buffalo Mozzarella Cheese Italian Cherry Tomato Mushrooms and Seasonal Vegetables
If you’re sticking to a classic Italian pizza (safe option), this pizza is actually pretty good. Crust was just nice – not too thick or thin and the ingredients atop the pizza complemented well with one another. Oh yes, tomatoes were really sweet!

Oyster Black Ink Tagliolini
Fresh Black Ink Tagliolini in Pachino Tomato Sauce and Fresh Sautéed Oyster
This was really yummy! Pasta was really flavourful and has a great texture. They were pretty generous with the servings and not forgetting, the fat and juicy oyster! Slurping good man!

Pappardelle Porcini Mushroom with Asparagus

This can get a little heavy (jelat) towards the end, especially with the creamy sauce and thick pasta. But cream sauce was really well-cooked.

Maccheroncini with Sausage

Virgin Olive Oil
The tomato sauce was not too overwhelming and the pasta was well-cooked.

Insalata Tiepida Di Farro E Pesce
Farro, Pan Fried Seafood, Tomato, Mozzarella, Radish and Extra Virgin Olive Oil
For the health-conscious crowd!!! Atmastel has prepared a nutritious and flavourful dish just for you! Very generous portion!

Agnello Allo Scottadito
Grilled Marinated Lamb Rack with Negroamaro Red Wine Sauce, Drizzles of Madagascar Cocoa Bean Sauce, Parmesan Cheese Flan, Baby Carrot and Asparagus in Butter Raspberry Brine with Olive Crouton
Not a huge lamb-lover but according to the foodies, the lamb was not consistent (some were over-cooked). But I really liked the seasonal vegetables.

Couscous Con Salmone Grigliato
Grilled Salmon Fillet in Orange Sauce with Couscous, Carrots, Zucchini, Celery and Potato
The salmon was pretty good. It was well-cooked, well-seasoned and has a really melty texture. Loving the mash potato on the side!

Dessert Trilogy
3 Different Chef Choices of Dessert
The trio dessert will change (according to the chef’s special).

This mint panda cotta was light and refreshing. Mint flavour was not too overwhelming!

Tiramisu was not too bad. But I would have loved it even more if they added a little bit more of rum.

This raspberry chocolate cake was pretty good. Cake was soft and moist, and of course, not too sweet!
