For the last series of my Ramadhan Special, I’ll be featuring the popular chain restaurant, OMOOMODON – best known for their unique and mouth-watering Japanese-Korean fusion dishes. Expect to enjoy a myriad of flavoursome dons such as Yes Sir! Yes Sir!, Chick-Chat and many more! This was my fourth visit to the restaurant and yes, I was still very impressed with the overall experience.

Just so you know, OMOOMODON runs a self-kiosk concept (you order and pay through the self-ordering machine) and that means you can SAVE on the service charge! So, check this place out with your loved ones this Ramadhan!

Psst! They are very popular among the students and families.

As you can see from the picture, they are very generous with the portion they served. Remember to make it a set (Choice of 1 Don, 1 Side and 1 Drink) because it’s more value-for-money! Oh yes, they have kids menu too!

Octagon Pop
Octopus were well-marinated and well-cooked to achieve a great texture (not too chewy) and the kimchi omelette was soft, flavourful with a subtle hint of spice.

Build Your Own Don
You can also create your very own don with all your preferred ingredients. The chicken wings were flavourful and crispy. Did you see how huge the portion is?

Yes Sir! Yes Sir!
Steak-lovers, you can order this thinly-sliced and well-seasoned sirloin steak (super tender and juicy) that comes with well-seasoned kimchi as well!

This was my favourite dish at OMOOMODON! The beef was really tender and juicy (we were fighting to finish the last piece) and I’m in love with the onsen egg. A gentle poke and it flows like nobody’s business. The way to eat this is to mix the egg, beef and rice together!

The set comes with a side of your choice and here’s my pick for you (these are the nicest for me).

Perfectly fried and thank god, these were not oily at all!

Fried Ebi
If you don’t know what to order, then go for this usual/won’t go wrong Fried Ebi. Not too bad!

Fillings were not too bad and servings were relatively generous. Pair it with the sauce for maximum pleasure!
