About a month to the season of FEASTING & GIVING, do you have any plans yet? If you’re planning to hold a Christmas party at home this year (looking for catering services), or searching for a romantic place to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones, I might just have the perfect solution for you. You can FEAST happily at home with Goodwood Park Hotel’s NEW Cantonese-inspired Savoury takeaways this year, or treat yourself and your loved ones to a scrumptious Christmas buffet spread at L’Espresso!

Think mouth-watering dishes such as Soy-braised Turkey served with Toasted Spice Almonds with Homemade Chilli Sauce, Mini Turkey Char Siew Bo Lo Buns (My FAV), Yuletide Blossom Log Cake and many more! Read on for more salivating pictures and information on Goodwood Park Hotel’s 2018 Christmas offerings ?

OMG! I’m hungry looking at this picture again! Can you spot my favourite Mini Turkey Char Siew Bo Lo Buns? It was so good I had 4 of them!

Cold Capellini Pasta with Alaskan Crab, Ebi, Caviar and Truffle Vinaigrette // $108 for 4 persons
Always love a good angel hair pasta and I’m absolutely going nuts over Goodwood Park Hotel’s rendition. Truffle aroma and flavour was really strong and the pasta had a really nice texture. Topped with Alaskan Crab, Ebi and Caviar, there’s no reason for this to not taste good. Take my money now!

Mini Turkey Char Siew Po Lo Buns // $15 for 6 pieces
These buns were so good that I was tempted to buy them back for Christmas this year. The exterior crust was really good (thanks to the chequered sugar flour crumble topping) which was crispy and not overly sweet. Also, it goes really well with the sweet-savoury turkey meat. Once you start, you literally can’t stop! A MUST-ORDER! Get you hooked in no time!

Slow Roasted Ibérico Pork Belly with Crackling, Pickled Cabbage, Apple Sauce and Pork Jus // $338 for 6 to 8 persons (limited to 25 orders per day)
Another station that everyone was flocking over to because this Slow Roasted Crackling Pork Belly is ? The skin was super crispy (also has a caramelised flavour) and the meat was tender and juicy. You know this is good when your neighbours go for a few servings. Me included too! Honestly, the pork belly alone is tasty enough – I don’t really need any condiments or side dishes. You legit need this for Christmas!

Soy-braised Turkey served with Toasted Spiced Almonds and Homemade Chilli Sauce | $238 for 8-12 persons
Another dish you might be interested to get fit Christmas this year! This Hong Kong-style Soy Sauce Chicken (very plump as you can see) is bursting with flavours (thanks to the traditional Chinese-style braising) and it is of course, tender and juicy. But personally, I would still go for the Crackling Pork Belly!

Roasted Australian Wagyu Beef Ribeye with Yorkshire pudding // ($588 for 1kg)
Alternatively, beef-lovers can go for this perfectly roasted Australian Wagyu Beef Ribeye with Yorkshire pudding. See how nicely roasted the beef is (from the colour)!

Yuletide Blossom Log Cake // $82 for 1kg
Goodwood Park Hotel is always known for their Durian-inspired desserts but this Yuletide Blossom Log Cake is KILLING me, in a good way! Love the white chocolate mousse and strawberry chiffon sponge combination! Thank god it wasn’t overly sweet/jelat!

Goodwood ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian Christmas Log Cake // $75 for 500g
Rejoice all Durian-lovers! Here’s a premium adaptation of the signature Goodwood D24 durian
Christmas log cake, this indulgent treat promises lashings of creamy ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durian goodness within layers of vanilla
sponge. The Goodwood D24 Durian Christmas Log Cake is priced at $80 for 1kg. Not a fan of durian, so I can’t comment much!

Jolly Chocolate, Blackcurrant and Cherry Savarin Cake // $68 for 1kg
Another cake you wanna have at any Christmas party! This sponge cake-bread hybrid uses meringue as a rising
agent, and is baked in a ring mould. Within lies blackcurrant and cherry curd, while decadent dark chocolate encases the entire creation. Brushstrokes of yellow glaze provide the final flourish, alongside white chocolate gold ‘leaves’. Perfect for all chocolate-lovers!

Whiskey Profiteroles Chocolate Tart // $52 for 600g
Here’s one of my favourite dessert at Goodwood Park Hotel! Choux Pastry is piped with whiskey custard (eyes lit up instantly) and it’s not overly sweet. Perfect for all parties! And yes, one is never enough!
