The Korean craze isn’t dying down anytime soon, especially with the rise of Kpop and K-drama. People are now more interested in Korea culture than ever. Take Singapore as an example, we have seen so many Korean restaurants opening in the last few years and the number is not slowly down. One of which is Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe, and as its name suggests, the cafe offers a wide array of mouth-watering Korean desserts such as Bingsu.

With two outlets in Singapore (Orchard Central and the newest Westgate respectively), Nunsaram has recently expanded their menu with new savoury items bound to tantalise your taste buds. Think succulent and popular Korean classics such as Gimpab (which comes in a few flavours) and my FAV Tteokbokki. On top of that, they have also introduced new sweets such as Açaí Berry Bingsu, and Hotteok with Ice Cream.

So, if you are staying near or studying/working around Westgate, you need to head over to Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe with your loved ones for a hearty Korean feast! Psst! Honestly, it reminded me of my exchange back in Seoul three years ago, especially the Gimpab!

Looks legit right? The owners are Korean and they are super friendly! My eyes are eyeing on the Gimbap and of course, the cheesy Tteokbokki. They were really yummy!

The weather is getting really cranky these days! So hot that a refreshing iced drink is needed to cool us down. I really liked this strawberry-banana milkshake from Nunsaram because it was rich, not too jelat and super filling. It pairs really well with the hearty savoury dishes.

Gimbap (Fried Ebi & Bulgogi)
Honestly, I couldn’t decide which was my favourite because both were equally tasty. As you can see, they were very generous with the portion. Gimpab are also generously filled with flavourful fillings and trust me, you can never stop at one. Shucks! Now, I’m craving for it again! Anyone wanna lunch there together?

This was delicious man! Cheesy Toast stuffed with flavoursome Tteokbokki – I mean who can ever resist this? First, look at that stretchy and gooey cheese which goes so well with the mildly spicy and soft tteokbokki. Next, the garlic bread at the side is really tasty too. Highly recommended!

Hotteok with Mango Ice Cream
Always love a good Korean pancake and I’m loving the rendition from Nunsaram! Warm pancake and a scoop of refreshing Mango ice cream = Best Combo Ever!

Açaí Berry Bingsu
Hmmm… Best of both worlds – Açaí & Bingsu. It is generously filled with açaí and an assortment of fruits. Very refreshing! Drizzle some condensed milk for maximum pleasure!
