Amara Singapore has raised the bar this Christmas by doing the impossible – having 7 Live Stations in their buffet! Talking about a FAT Christmas, you can definitely eat and drink to your heart’s content at Amara Singapore! The culinary team has once again impressed us with their creativity and ‘playfulness’ in their NEW Christmas offerings which has a great mix of Western-Asian influences. Some of the highlights include Baby Lobster Miso Yaki (expect flaming performance), Slow Roast Turkey with Sze Chuan Sauce, Japanese Cheese Log Cakes (they have Matcha flavour 😍) and many more! Read on to find out more and of course, for more salivating pictures!

Here’s some of the dishes that you MUST GRAB at Element by Amara Singapore! If I had to choose two favourites, I’ll go for the lobster and Japanese Matcha log cake!

Tomato Watermelon Carpaccio
Starting the buffet with a refreshing appetiser, this Tomato Watermelon Carpaccio has a nice and balanced sweet and sour combination. Also loving the extra crunch from the watermelons!

Celeriac Veloute Truffle Oil
For those seeking a warm and flavourful bowl of soup before all the meats, you should probably get this soup that comes with a nice truffle aroma and taste. Oh yes, you can add as much truffle as you want (since it’s free flow)!

Pan-seared Foie Gras with Raspberry Sauce
Foie Gras was well-cooked to achieve a nice texture and there isn’t any gamey taste! Loving the sweet-sour raspberry sauce which enhanced the savoury taste of the Foie Gras.

Baby Lobster Miso Yaki
Like what I’ve mentioned earlier, get your phone/camera ready for some FlambĂ© action! Lobster was fresh and sweet! Secretly hoping to get another serving of this! Definitely one of the crowd’s favourite!

Slow Roast Turkey with Sze Chuan Spicy Sauce
First time seeing roasted Turkey drenched with flavoursome Sze Chuan spicy sauce and I think Amara did an amazing job. Turkey has a smoky flavour, nice texture and it goes really well with the sauce which has a hint of spiciness at the end. Loving the mash and greens too!

Japanese Cheese Log Cake
Ending the buffet with my FAV Matcha Cheese Cake – soft, moist and full of Matcha flavour! Definitely a hit among Chocolate & Matcha lovers! Oh yes, it’s not overly sweet!
