My first time at an Indian Tapas Bar and I’m literally blown away by how good their cocktails were. Situated within Bussorah Street, Flying Monkey offers not only an extensive range of authentic Pan-Indian cuisine but also BOLD & FUNKY cocktails. Inspired by the flamboyant Bollywood entertainment industry, Flying Monkey has recently created a range of ‘playful’ yet delicious drinks using traditional Indian spices and ingredients. Flying Monkey Signature, Baby Doll and Bang Bang are some of the ‘badass’ drinks you MUST order at the bar. If you can’t decide what to get, the friendly bartender will recommend a drink based on your taste profile.

What’s drinking without bar snacks? Calamari 65, Malai Kebab and Kukuri Bhindi are some of the addictive dishes you need to get to go with your drinks. So, looking for a place to unwind after work? Head over to Flying Monkey with your colleagues over good Indian food & drinks! Cheers 🥂

Ready for some delicious Indian food & drinks? Also, spot that super funky menu from Flying Monkey – definitely brightens up my day!

Baby Doll
Comprises of Reyka Vodka, Saffron, Pineapple Juice, Vanilla, Lemon and Egg White, this cocktail leans more towards the sweeter & fruitier spectrum. It’s easy to drink, and I can foresee it being very popular among the ladies.

The Japanese Wife
This is my kind of drink and it’s made of Old Monk Rum, Sake , Guava , Maraschino, Citrus & Saline Solution. How to drink this? Sip the sake in the small cup first, then the rum in the big cup for maximum pleasure. The kick comes right at the end! One more to describe this – Shiok ah! And is it weird that I thought this was refreshing?

Malai Kebab
This was mind-blowing! Chicken was really tender and juicy!

Calamari 65
Calamari was well-battered, crispy and not too oily. It’s super addictive! Now, where’s my drink?

Vada Pav
This was not too bad! Potato in the middle was really flavoursome and it paired well with the fluffy buns!

Prawn Koliwada
Prawn was well-seasoned, crispy and very crunchy. Dip it into the sauce for maximum pleasure. Goes really well with my drink – Bang Bang!
