This must be one of the more value-for-money Yu Sheng I’ve come across this year! Priced at only $18.80, you get to enjoy a generous serving of Bee Cheng Hiang signature Gourmet Fusion Bak Kwa as well as their home-made Yuzu dressing. Unlike other Yu Sheng, I thought this was light, refreshing and not too jelat! Personally, I would like the flavour to be a tad bolder!

My mum was praising this dish the moment she gave it a bite! You know it is LEGIT good because my mum is extremely picky when it comes to food and she’s not into truffle. Truffle flavour wasn’t overwhelming and it paired the Bak Kwa really well. The crust of the tart was also well-baked. Secretly hoping that the tart could be a little bigger! Highly recommended!

Enoki wrapped around with Bak Kwa is probably one of the best thing in the world. My eyes literally popped when I took a bite because this was darn good lah. It was not too oily! Word of advice: Do not share with your friends! It’s okay to be selfish!

Hmm.. you know I’m a HUGE fan of carbonara and this Capellini Carbonara from Bee Cheng Hiang, I confirm approve! It was flavoursome, not too creamy (and thus not jelat after a while) and I love how they added pork floss to enhance the texture of the dish. Of course, the sliced Bak Kwa inside it was đŸ€€

If you like something more interactive, perhaps you can go for this DIY Bak Kwa Sliders. I thought this would be a hit among the kids! Fluffy and lightly-buttered buns with coin Bak Kwa – definitely catches the attention of your kids (divert their attention away from iPads)! Also, the egg is super well-cooked! Look at that gorgeous drip!
