What’s the first thing that comes into your mind when somebody mention about Korea? K-pop? K-drama? While I don’t deny K-pop is one of the most important reason that got me hooked to Korean culture, Korean food (especially Fried Chicken & Beer) is another reason why I’m so ‘Korea-crazy’!

If you’re also a fan of Korean Fried Chicken, you’re in for a serious treat! Chicken Up Korean Restaurant has recently rolled out their FREE FLOW Korean Fried Chicken from 6pm to 11pm at ONLY $15+ for ladies & $20+ for guys! Available from Sunday to Thursday, you can legit FEAST (and satisfy your cravings for Fried Chicken) to your heart’s content! Other MUST-TRY dishes include UFO Snow Squid Topokki, Seafood Pancake, Bulgogi Fries and Yangpa Bomb. Oh yes, remember to bring your loved ones along because the portion served is really generous! Me and my friends were so stuffed (but happy) after our meal at Chicken Up!

To avoid disappointment (read: skip the queue), you can make a reservation at Chicken Up via www.quandoo.sg!

Now, do you understand why I said we were so stuffed after our meal at Chicken Up? Look at this sumptuous spread which I believe can feed about 5-6 people!

And of course you have to order this Watermelon Soju to go with your hearty Korean meal! Honestly, this was really easy to drink and super refreshing. Sip by sip – and by the time you realise it, you have already finished the entire drink! Cheers 🍻

Another not-to-be-missed dish is this Crispy Onion Blossom which was fried to perfection. Besides being aesthetically-pleasing, it’s also very pleasurable to the taste bud! It was well-seasoned, crispy and not overly oily. Also, there’s a hint of spice at the end! It comes with some carrots and cucumber to ease off the greasiness!

Beware of this Bulgogi Fries if you’re on a strict carbs diet! It was so addictive I literally had to force myself to stop. Portion was really HUGE and the chunks of beef were super flavourful & tender!

I don’t know about you but I’ll always order a Kimchi pancake when I’m in a Korean restaurant. The rendition at Chicken Up is not too bad – generous servings of kimchi within the pancake! Dip it into the chilli sauce for maximum pleasure!

If you’re here with a big group, I would highly recommend this UFO Snow Squid Topokki because it’s really value-for-money! It comes with a Giant Fried Squid, Toppoki, Dumplings, Kimchi Fried Rice, Corn, Cheese and Steamed Egg! There’s legit nothing to complain about this dish!
Here comes the highlight – KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN! Hmm..so darn good sia! My friends were raving about them even after our meal. Super flavourful! Well, I think I can eat at least 6 of them (cos they are very BIG) and you can share with me how many you manage to eat when you’re having the FREE FLOW promotion!
So, can’t wait to lay your hands on these mouth-watering dishes from Chicken Up? Remember to make your reservation via www.quandoo.sg!
