If you’re staying in the West (to be exact, near Chinese Garden MRT Station), you’re in for a very SWEET treat. Nestled within the Jurong East neighbourhood, Lee’s Confectionery is a new and minimalistic dessert cafe that serves a range of exquisite French entremets alongside Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee and ETTE Tea at a very reasonable price.

The trip down to the cafe was really worthwhile (came all the way from Punggol because their Matcha pastry was circulating the net and I’m a HUGE fan of Matcha) because the entremets that we had were jaw-dropping delicious, especially the Matcha one – Dale. Definitely bringing more of my friends here for their plated French desserts. Trust me, you should as well!

Psst! I would suggest you heading down to Lee’s Confectionery earlier because seats are limited and the desserts are usually sold out fast!

The plated desserts look good right? We were all sitting at the coffee counter snapping photos while the owner was plating the desserts. Couldn’t bear ourselves to eat these pretty sweet treats!

Heard so many good things about Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee and I’m so glad I finally tried it at Lee’s Confectionery today. It was really aromatic, rich and not too acidic. Definitely a good perk me up in the morning!

Chou filled with tea-infused cream cheese and mascarpone then topped with shortbread cookie and strawberry jam-filled dome
The cream wasn’t overly sweet or jelat and I really liked the strawberry jam inside the dome. Legit can have this after lunch everyday all day!

Matcha sponge cake with matcha ganache, passionfruit jam in paillete feuilletine crumble
The reason I travelled all the way down from Punggol and it did not disappoint! Matcha flavour was really strong but not overwhelming and I really liked the subtle bitterness from the Matcha. The sweet-sour combination of the passionfruit jam paired really well with the Matcha flavour. I’m SHOOK because this is DA BOMB! Highly recommended!
