The food looks good right? If you have been following my blog all these while, you would have already know I’m a HUGE fan of Korean food! You can imagine the grin I had (eyes popping too) every time a dish was served in front of me! Spoilt for choice LITERALLY!
OMG! The kimchi was real delicious and it reminded me of my university exchange in Seoul 4 years ago! It was flavourful, crunchy and ADDICTIVE! Wasn’t too spicy and really easy to eat. Goes really well with rice (hint: Bibimbap)!
The short beef ribs were well-braised – tender, literally melts in the mouth and super flavourful. I don’t mind heading back for a few more servings!
One of my fav Korean food and the rendition at Sky22 was really comforting. The broth was bursting with flavours and again, I would recommend you pairing with Bibimbap.
Kimchi Galbi Jjim
If you can’t take beef, this is the dish to go to. Pork wasn’t too gamey and it was well-soaked with flavours. Not as spicy as it looks.
How can you not have this at a Korean-themed buffet? Missing those days when I had them at Hongdae. Flavour was good but I thought the chicken was a little too dry for my liking!
One of the sides you must have – Seafood Pancake. They are generously filled with ingredients. Not too bad!
You can create your very own Bibimbap at their DIY corner! Add in more pepper paste (I love it man)!
Salmon was well-cooked – not too fishy, and has a nice texture. Squeeze the lemon for a more citrusy flavour!
Classic Korean dessert and best to have it when it’s hot!
Ending the hearty Korean feast with my MATCHA CREME BRULEE and Egg Tart flown all the way from Korea! 진짜대박!
