Attention all Matcha-lovers! Hailing from Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan, the popular dessert shop – 108 Matcha Saro has opened its first Southeast Asia outlet at Suntec City! Cue ‘screaming’ 😍

Well-loved for its mouth-watering Obanyaki, Parfait, Warabi Mochi and Soft Serve Ice-Cream Cone, what sets 108 Matcha Saro Singapore apart from its peers is the authenticity and quality of its key ingredients that include Uji Matcha powder from Kyoto that is used in its matcha desserts alongside Taiwan’s Pingtung Wandan Red Bean used in its Obanyaki and Parfait.

With all their desserts reasonably-priced, you can get your sweet tooth (Matcha cravings) fix without breaking the bank! I’m definitely heading back for my Matcha treats very soon! Come say hi if you happen to see me at the shop 😉

Is Green your favourite colour too? Trust me, you just want to get everything when you’re at 108 Matcha Saro! Legit spoilt for choice!

Warabi Mochi
Their Warabi Mochi is made fresh daily. There’s 3 for you to choose from –  Matcha Powder, Soybean Powder and Mixed. Would recommend you to get a mix of both (but I really like the Soybean Powder Warabi Mochi). Texture was amazing and it’s available in a cup of 8 pieces at $4.90 or a box of 24 pieces for $12.90 (this will made a perfect gift).

Here’s one of my favourite (and a MUST-TRY) Matcha treats from them – Obanyaki which comes in 5 different styles. Had the Matcha Custard, ‘Double Chocolate’ Obanyaki and Matcha Azik and they were so good! The basic ones (Matcha Custard and Double Chocolate) are my favourites. Obanyaki was really soft and fluffy, and filled with generous sauces in it!  Head over to my Instagram to see how they are made!

Matcha Almond Milk Tofu Float
When two of your favourite things combined (Matcha + Almond) = 😍 Surprisingly, they paired really well (sweetness of the almond goes really well with the subtle bitterness of the Matcha! Definitely a refreshing drink for the hot weather!

Matcha Love Parfait
You can’t walk away from the shop without trying their Parfait! Legit nothing to complain about (if you’re a Matcha fan) and this definitely warrants a re-visit!
