Soi Thai Soi Nice has captured the hearts of many Singaporeans since their opening in 2016. Known for their hearty and flavoursome Royal Thai Hotpots, the popular Thai restaurant is back with an all-new Thai-Teochew menu to commemorate its JEM’s flagship store’s 1st birthday! Get ready to be transported back to Bangkok’s Yaowarat with Braised Pork Knuckle, Tofu Crystal Prawn, Waterfall Deep Fried Pork Belly and many more! On top of that, diners can also enjoy two brand new hotpots – Royal Thai Fish Head Hot Pot and Royal Thai Seafood Porridge!

Psst! For those staying around Seletar Mall, they are open for supper (Mookata Party) at the outlet till 2am from Mondays to Thursdays and Sunday and till 3am on Friday, Saturday and Public Holidays.

Best to head down here with a group of people cos the food portion at Soi Thai Soi Nice is always very generous! And the Royal Hotpots can usually feed 4-5 people!

Braised Pork Knuckle 香焖猪脚 // $18.90
This was really shiok! It was well-braised and very flavourful. Love the meaty part of the pork and the sauce would go really well with a few bowls of rice. Egg was on point too! This dish definitely warrants a re-visit!

Tofu Crystal Prawn 豆腐水晶虾 – $15.90
Tofu was well-cooked – soft and fluffy! Sauce was decent – similar to your chilli crab sauce but I would have loved it even more if it was a tad spicier!

Waterfall Deep Fried Pork Belly 秘制酱酥炸五花肉 // $13.90
Always a fan of their pork belly dish and this didn’t disappoint! It was crispy and the sweet-sour chilli sauce was good! Best to have it while it’s hot!

Royal Thai Seafood Porridge (皇室海鲜粥) // $38.80
Embrace yourself because this Royal Thai Seafood Porridge is HUGE! It comes with Flower Crab with Squid, Prawn, Red Grouper Fillet, Mussels, Flower Clam, Raw Egg and Yam with Red Tom Yum Soup! The menu reads that this is for 2pax but honestly, it is able to feed 3-4 people! Tom Yum soup was really flavoursome and all I could think of was to get a bowl of rice and drenched it with the soup. It wasn’t very spicy (tolerable) and you literally can’t stop once you have the first sip!

Royal Thai Fish Head Hot Pot (皇室香芋鱼头炉) // $38.80
For those who loves Fish Head, you can go for this option. It comes with Fish Head with Mussels, Oysters, Enoki Mushrooms, Tau Kee, Flower Clam, Deep Fried Egg Tofu, Yam, Round Cabbage with Yam Fish Soup! Again, the soup is to die for! Remember to order rice!

Coconut Ice Cream with Sticky Rice 香椰冰淇淋糯米饭 // $8.90
Ending the hearty Thai feast with a classic Thai dessert – Coconut Ice Cream with Sticky Rice. Rice was a tad tough for my liking!
