Katong is home to many cosy and quaint cafés, and it’s also one of my favourite area to café-hop. Adding to that list is MOD Café – a café cum salon decked in a pinkish single-storey building which will draw your attention immediately! Away from the hustle and bustle, MOD Café offers a decent range of breakfast items such as Caesar Salad, Quiche, Mushroom Soup alongside coffee and teas. On top of the that, they also serve artisanal cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory. For those who loves to take OOTD, this café is also the place to go to!

Psst! Because the café is really small, I would recommend you to either head there early or during off-peak hours to avoid the crowd (especially if you want to take your OOTDs). They were quite crowded when I was there at 4pm!

It’s a great place to chill with your friends, and if you’re looking for some quality me time, this place is nothing short of perfect. Food was alright though – simple and nothing too fanciful!

MOD Café uses teas from Tea Forte, and this is one of their exclusive Tea Mocktail. It was very refreshing, not too sweet and very apt for the hot weather in Singapore!

For $7,50, I’m quite satisfied with the Quiche. Portion was decent and the Quiche was well-baked. I don’t mind having this for breakfast at the café!

If you’re looking for something simple and save, go for this Caesar Salad. Honestly, it’s hard to go wrong lah!

The highlight is probably this Wild Strawberry Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory! It was rich, moist and not too jelat! So tempted to dapao one home and literally had to force myself to stop! Highly recommended! Oh yes, and it goes really well with tea!

Chio right? Now, do you understand why I said it will draw your attention? Legit thought I was in a Korea Cafe!
